Job summary

GONGXIN IMMIGRATION PTY LTD (Summit Workforce) in Western Australia seeks a full-time carpenter to perform general carpentry, including structural framing and installations, on busy construction sites. You will review blueprints, build wall and roof framing, install doors and windows, and assist with formwork to support timely project delivery.

Candidates must have at least three years' experience in fast-paced environments, AQF IV preferred, and a strong eye for detail.

• Fit windows and doors, install hinges, handles and locks.
• Mend and restore timber and replace damaged sections as needed.
• Occasionally construct formwork for concrete structures.

Position Available:

This is a FULL-TIME position. As an essential member of our workforce team at GONGXIN IMMIGRATION PTY LTD (Summit Workforce), you will work closely with Site Supervisors and leading hands to carry out general carpentry and construction tasks, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards. Your role will involve assisting with site preparation, performing structural framing and installations, and contributing to the efficient and timely delivery of projects. Previous experience as a Carpenter in a fast-paced construction environment is highly valued. Responsibilities:

1. Review blueprints, specifications, and drawings to identify necessary materials, measurements, and assembly methods.

2. Build and put together wall and ceiling frameworks, eaves, and roof trusses in accordance with design plans.

3. Assemble diverse structures—including walls, floors, exterior stairs, paneling, and partitions—utilizing nails, screws, brackets, or alternative fasteners.

4. Fit windows and doors into frames, which involves installing hinges, handles, and locking mechanisms.

5. Mend and restore wooden structures, swapping out any damaged or worn-out timber when required.

6. From time to time, build and set up formwork for concrete structures.
