Job summary

GONGXIN IMMIGRATION PTY LTD (Summit Workforce) in Western Australia seeks a full-time carpenter to perform general carpentry, including structural framing and installations, on busy construction sites. You will review blueprints, build wall and roof framing, install doors and windows, and assist with formwork to support timely project delivery.

Candidates must have at least three years' experience in fast-paced environments, AQF IV preferred, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of work experience in a fast-paced construction environment.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines.
Honest, reliable and a cooperative team player.

Responsibilities

Review blueprints, specifications and drawings for materials and assembly methods.
Build wall and ceiling frameworks, eaves, and roof trusses per plans.
Assemble walls, floors, exterior stairs, paneling and partitions using appropriate fasteners.
Fit windows and doors, install hinges, handles and locks.
Mend and restore timber and replace damaged sections as needed.
Occasionally construct formwork for concrete structures.
