Job summary

RFBI's Concord Masonic Village in Sydney is seeking an experienced aged care carer to join our compassionate team. You will deliver a wide range of personal care services and support residents to maintain independence and dignity in a warm, person-centred environment.

This role offers a supportive manager, flexible rosters and opportunities to develop your career within RFBI, a long-standing NFP provider delivering quality care across NSW and ACT.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care is required.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience in an aged care environment.
• Enthusiastic and motivated approach.
• Current First Aid Certificate is required.
• Must be eligible to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds
• Providing basic clinical care including; wound dress, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Entering reports and observations into our computer program-iCare.
• Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care

We are currently seeking an experienced aged care carer to join our wonderful team and work at our Concord Masonic Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
