Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Casual Carer to provide high-quality care and support to residents, helping them live with dignity and purpose. You will assist with daily tasks, offer emotional support, and ensure residents’ physical comfort in a nurturing environment.

The role requires a Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support and a minimum of 2 years’ experience, plus an NDIS Worker Screening Check. Flexible availability and teamwork are valued in our diverse, supportive facility.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance ID required.
• All required qualifications recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including showering, dressing and grooming.
• Support residents with mobility and physical assistance.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and document residents’ progress and preferences.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care.

You will assist with daily tasks, provide emotional support, and offer companionship to residents. You will ensure the physical comfort and emotional health of our residents are met in a caring and nurturing environment.

What's required?
