Job summary

RFBI Armidale Village is seeking an aged care Carer to join our team. You will deliver a wide range of personal care services to residents and play a key part in our care team.

You will provide basic clinical support, assist with medication delivery and record observations, and manage care for conditions like diabetes and arthritis. Training in iCare and ongoing development are available.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care is required.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience in an aged care environment is preferred.
• Current First Aid Certificate is required.
• Must be eligible to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds.
• Provide basic clinical care including wound dressing, assist with medication delivery and record basic observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Enter reports and observations into the iCare computer program.
• Assist and follow directions of the Care Manager to achieve person-centred care.

Position Information:

We are currently seeking aged care Carers to join our wonderful team and work at our Armidale Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds

• Entering reports and observations into our computer program-iCare.
• Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care
