Job summary

RSL LifeCare Limited is seeking a Carer to join our Residential Aged Care team in Picton. You will provide compassionate personal care, work closely with residents and families, and help support activities that enhance wellbeing.

We value teamwork and a person-centred approach, ensuring care plans are followed and residents’ preferences are respected. A valid Police or NDIS check is required before starting.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in individual support or related work experience are beneficial.
• Australian Working Rights are required.
• A valid Police Check or NDIS check (or both) is mandatory before starting employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents in accordance with individual care plans.
• Encourage wellbeing and independence by supporting residents to engage in activities and interests.
• Collaborate with residents and their families to deliver quality care.
• Participate in risk management and continuous quality improvement activities.
• Build strong, productive relationships with the care team to achieve positive resident outcomes.

Australian Working Rights

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
