Job summary

RSL LifeCare in Nowra is seeking a Casual Carer to provide compassionate, person-centred care. You will support residents with daily activities, personal care and engagement in meaningful activities within our aged care homes.

You will work in a supportive team focused on quality care, safety, and respect for residents. Experience in individual care and a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement is valued.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated compassion, empathy and advocacy.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work efficiently by using technology in the role.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with colleagues.
• Australian Working Rights required.
• Individual support qualification or related experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care in collaboration with residents and families.
• Deliver timely and effective care aligned with care plans.

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
