Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking a caring Care Worker for At Home Services in the Wisemans Ferry area. You will help older Australians with daily activities, housekeeping, mobility and personal care, supporting independence in their own homes.

This permanent part-time role offers up to 48 hours per fortnight. A valid Australian driver licence and a reliable vehicle are required to transport clients. Competitive hourly rates apply with superannuation and travel support.

About the Role

As a Care Worker supporting clients in the Wisemans Ferry area, you will be part of our BaptistCare At Home team that provides quality complex care and support to our clients in their own homes. You may assist with a range of tasks pertaining to household cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, medication assistance and transport to name a few. You will also develop genuine connections with your clients and help them live their best possible lives.

This is a permanent part time role offering up to 48 hours per fortnight.

To support you from your very first day, we provide:

• A comprehensive orientation program including buddy shifts

• A mobile phone to access emails, rosters and client care plans

• Earn $34.42/hr (unqualified) - $36.23/hr (qualified) plus superannuation per hour + paid travel time and mileage between clients.

What You’ll Bring

You will have an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance to transport clients. You will be a strong communicator with resilience and patience. You will be a proficient user of smartphone technology, apps and email.You have a caring nature, strong patience and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in someone’s day.
