BaptistCare is seeking a Casual Care Worker to support clients across York, Northam, Toodyay and surrounds. You will travel between multiple client locations as part of daily duties, assisting with basic care tasks and helping clients maintain independent living at home.

You will join a supportive team, receive orientation and supervision, and access professional development opportunities. A driver licence and reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance are required.

About the Role

As a Casual Care Worker supporting clients across York, Northam, Toodyay and surrounds. You will be required to travel between multiple client locations throughout these service areas as part of your day-to-day responsibilities. You will be part of our BaptistCare At Home team that provides quality complex care and support to our clients in their own homes. You may assist with a range of tasks pertaining to household cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, medication assistance and transport to name a few. You will also develop genuine connections with your clients and help them live their best possible lives.

How We Support You

• A comprehensive orientation program including buddy shifts
• Direct access to a dedicated supervisor to support you
• A mobile phone to access emails, rosters and client care plans
• Access to a dedicated learning and development team to support your ongoing professional development and career pathways
• Earn $32.60/hr (unqualified) - $36.23/hr (qualified) plus superannuation per hour + paid travel time and mileage between clients

What You'll Bring

You will have an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance to transport clients. You will be a strong communicator with resilience and patience. You will be a proficient user of smartphone technology, apps and email.
