Wesley Mission Queensland is recruiting care workers to support clients in Chermside and surrounding suburbs. You’ll assist with personal care, meals, hygiene, mobility, and domestic tasks within a not-for-profit aged care framework.

The role emphasizes social and community support, transport assistance, and adherence to care plans, with a focus on person-centred care, compassion, and teamwork. Join a purpose-led organisation committed to dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent).
• Must hold a current Australian Driver’s Licence and comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination as required.
• Probity checks as per legislation and WMQ policy.

Responsabilités

Your Role as Care Worker

You’ll deliver this role by:

• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, showering, mobility, and meals
• Support clients with domestic tasks, including house cleaning, laundry, ironing, and meal prep
• Provide social and community support and assist with transport to appointments or shopping
• Follow clients’ care plans and report changes in wellbeing to the Coordinator/Case Manager
• Contribute ideas to improve services and teamwork

Location – Chermside and Surrounding Suburbs

Must hold a minimum Green P Plate (Australian Drivers Licence)
