Job summary

Wesley Mission Queensland is seeking Care Workers for our community aged care team in Bundaberg and surrounding suburbs. You will drive during your work day and provide personal care, domestic support, and social assistance to clients, following their care plans and reporting wellbeing changes.

Qualifications

• Must hold Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
• Must have a current Australian Driver’s Licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Probity checks as per legislation and WMQ policy.
• Positive, flexible attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills.

This is a Community based Aged Care role. You will be required to drive during your work day. You must be available weekends and up to 7pm weeknights.

Your Role as Care Worker

You’ll deliver this role by:

Assist clients withpersonal care, hygiene, showering, mobility, and meals

Support clients withdomestic tasks, including house cleaning, laundry, ironing, and meal prep

Providesocial and community supportand assist with transport to appointments or shopping

Follow clients’care plansand report changes in wellbeing to the Coordinator/Case Manager

Contribute ideas toimprove services and teamwork

Location – Bundaberg and Surrounding Suburbs

What We’re Looking For

Must be available every weekend and weeknights until 7pm
