BaptistCare NSW/ACT - Aged Care in Dubbo invites applications for a Care Team Manager role at Kintyre Lodge Aged Care Home. You will lead the day-to-day clinical care team, ensuring person-centred care and compliance with aged care standards.

This full-time, max-term position offers opportunities to mentor staff, drive quality improvements, and support complex care needs, including palliative and dementia care, within a supportive Christian values-based workplace.

Qualificações

• Minimum 4 years' experience as an RN in aged care.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Knowledge of ANACC, care planning, aged care standards and auditing.
• Ability to provide management and leadership which develops trust in staff.
• Understanding of complex care needs including palliative and dementia care.

About the Role

Located at Dubbo, Kintyre Lodge Aged Care Home is a welcoming and homely aged care home offering 24-hour, care and support to residents.

As aCare Team Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of our clinical care team, using your expertise and leadership to deliver exceptional, person-centred care. You’ll inspire and educate staff, promote best practices, and ensure compliance with aged care standards. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement, supporting complex care needs, and maintaining accreditation under the Aged Care Act.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage care teams, ensuring optimal staffing and team performance.
• Oversee clinical care, including assessments, care plans, and compliance with best practices.
• Promote continuous improvement through quality initiatives and risk management.
• Mentor and educate staff to maintain high standards of care and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and relevant legislation.

About You

To be considered, you will need

• Minimum 4 years' experience as an RN within the aged care sector
• Current AHPRA registration
• Sound knowledge ANACC, care planning, Aged Care standards and auditing
• Ability to provide management and leadership which develops trust and good qualities in all team members
• An understanding of the impact of complex care needs and a demonstrated ability to apply high level of clinical knowledge (including palliative care and dementia care).
• Willingness to work after hours On Call Rotation

Desirable Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualifications in Management, dementia,Gerontology, or Training and Assessment.
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (preferred)
• Have attainedFoundations of Infection Prevention and Control ( IPC Lead)
