BaptistCare NSW/ACT - Aged Care invites applications for the Residential Manager role at Kintyre Lodge in Dubbo NSW. You will lead the Home’s operations, clinical governance and financial performance to deliver high-quality, resident-centred care.

In this senior leadership position you will inspire multidisciplinary teams, drive continuous improvement, manage budgets and ensure compliance with aged care standards while supporting staff development and recruitment across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor qualification in Nursing or Allied Health.
• Minimum five years' senior management experience.
• Minimum five years' clinical experience.
• Understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, HELF, subsidies and regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading a medium to large residential aged care home.
• Strong financial acumen and budget management.

About the Role

Located in Dubbo, (Central West NSW), BaptistCare’s Kintyre Lodge Aged Care Home is a warm and welcoming community that provides 24-hour care and support to its (81) residents.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join us as Residential Manager. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for the overall operational, clinical, financial, and people management outcomes of the Home.

Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will drive quality care, staff engagement, compliance, and continuous improvement, and be supported by a Leadership & Management Team including, Care Team Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Education & Quality Supervisor, Lifestyle Coordinator and Chef Manager. BaptistCare’s Innovation & Quality Team and Support Services provide ongoing remote and onsite support. .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall operations of the Home, ensuring the highest standards of resident care and overall service delivery.
• Create and maintain a positive, safe and inclusive environment for residents, families and employees.
• Drive workforce planning, recruitment, retention, coaching, capacity building and succession planning initiatives.
• Manage financial performance, budgets, occupancy and minutes of care compliance. .
• Maintain compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, WHS, Fair Work and relevant legislation.
• Build trusted relationships with residents, families, employees, health professionals and community stakeholders.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and foster a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Oversee effective incident, risk and complaints management processes to ensure outstanding outcomes for residents and families.

About You

You are a confident and collaborative leader with a proven ability to inspire teams, drive operational excellence and deliver exceptional resident outcomes.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Bachelor qualification in Nursing or Allied Health.
• Minimum five years' senior management experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Minimum five years' clinical experience.
• Sound understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, “HELF”, aged care funding models, government subsidies and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated success managing a medium to large residential aged care home or comparable healthcare service.
• Strong financial acumen, managing performance to budgeted outcomes and effective workforce planning experience in the meeting of minutes of care quarterly targets.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience leading organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Outstanding communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to balance competing priorities while achieving quality of care and business related agreed outcomes.
