Job summary

St Vincent’s Care Services Bronte is seeking a Casual - Care Services Employee to partner with residents, support daily routines, and ensure residents feel safe and engaged. You will provide direct care for activities of daily living and assist with personal care needs in a boutique 107-bed facility in Sydney's beachside area.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential.
• 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience highly regarded.
• Must be available to work multiple shifts through the week.

Job Description: We are looking for a special kind of person – a St Vincent’s kind of person. Someone who puts compassion, connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do. As a Casual - Care Services Employee, you will partner with residents to support their daily routine, lifestyle and choices and ensure they feel safe, valued, respected and engaged.

You will provide direct care and assistance to residents with all activities of daily living, personal care needs (including personal hygiene) and attending to the daily running of the household as part of a supportive, dedicated team at St Vincent’s Care Services Bronte.

St Vincent's Care Services Bronte is a boutique facility located in one of Sydney's beautiful beachside neighbourhoods. Our 107-bed facility offers a high standard of holistic care as well as specialist dementia accommodation. Things that work for us:

• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential
• 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience highly regarded
• Must be available to work multiple shifts through the week.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records
• Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
