St Vincent's Care Maroochydore in Queensland seeks a Living Support Partner (Personal Care Assistant). You will join a dedicated team delivering compassionate, resident-centered care in a household setting, assisting residents with daily living activities and wellbeing.

We value experience in residential aged care, strong communication, and ability to follow care plans. NDSS screening is part of the selection, with supportive leave and training offerings.

About the Opportunity: As one of our Living Support Partners (Personal Care Assistant) you will be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team that is committed to creating a welcoming, professional and caring environment for the residents of St Vincent's Care Maroochydore.
St Vincent's Maroochydore is a modern, lifestyle-oriented aged care service located in a master-planned community precinct within walking distance of restaurants and shops centre on Queensland’s famed Sunshine Coast.
Living Support Partners provide direct care and assistance to resident with all activities of daily living. They partner with residents to support their daily routine, lifestyle and choices and ensure they feel safe, valued, respected and engaged.
This position is to work as an effective household member and is supervised, providing care for residents in a specific household. They are responsible for assisting and supporting their wellbeing through professional, caring and efficient execution of required duties.
All positions contribute to the provision of quality and sustainable health services within the ethos of the philosophy, mission, values and ethics of St Vincent's Health Australia.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential
  • 6 months + experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience (dementia experience) highly regarded
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records
  • Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check is mandatory
