Job summary

Dovida is seeking an Assistant Care Manager (Trainee) in Lane Cove West, Sydney. You will support delivery of high-quality, relationship-based care to private clients under supervision, building capability in client coordination, care planning and documentation.

We offer on-the-job training, coaching and a clear pathway to a Care Manager role while you work toward a Certificate IV in Ageing Support, with flexible arrangements and wellbeing leave.

Qualifications

• Transitioning from a Caregiver or Care Administrator into a Trainee Assistant Care Manager.
• Willingness to undertake formal qualifications and training.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with clients and families through regular communication and person-centred support.
• Assist with coordinating care services for Private clients, including onboarding and visits.
• Support client reviews, goal discussions and simple care plan updates as capability develops.
• Maintain accurate client records and document stakeholder interactions for quality and audit readiness.
• Monitor caregiver feedback and promptly escalate risks or concerns to the supervising Care Manager.
• Collaborate with Care Managers, Care Administrators and the wider office team.
