Job summary

RFBI is seeking a Care at Home Officer in Goulburn on a casual basis to support clients with daily living, personal care, and social support, following care plans and liaising with families and health professionals.

You will hold a Certificate III in Aged or Community Care, have a current First Aid Certificate, a full Australian drivers licence and be available weekends; RFBI offers competitive hourly rates, salary packaging options, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the aged care sector.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Full Australian Drivers Licence and comprehensive car insurance.
• The ability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supporting clients with daily living, personal care, house cleaning, shopping and social support.
• Following the client's support plan and reporting changes to the Care at Home Coordinator.
• Assisting with medication supervision and recording basic clinical observations.
• Liaising with families and health professionals to ensure client needs are met.

Your role will involve:

• Supporting clients with their daily living, personal care, general house cleaning, shopping, respite and social support and other requirements specified in their care plans
• Following the clients support plan and report any changes observed to the Care at Home Coordinator
• Assisting with medication supervision; recording basic clinical observations
• Liaising with families and health professionals to ensure all client needs are met

You will bring:

• A Certificate III in Aged or Community Care
• Previous experience within the aged care sector
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Full Australian Drivers Licence and comprehensive car insurance
• The ability to work weekends
