RFBI Dubbo is seeking a part-time team member to assist across catering, cleaning and laundry within our aged care village. You will help deliver high-quality meals and a clean, comfortable environment for residents.

Desirable experience in aged care, catering, cleaning and laundry; validity of First Aid and ability to work unsupervised are valued. Training and career development opportunities offered.

Job description

RFBI Dubbo is seeking an experienced individual who is interested in working across our Catering and Hotel Services departments on a part-time basis. Within this dynamic role, you will assist across our catering, cleaning and laundry departments, delivering quality food and cleaning services to our residents and ensuring they feel as comfortable and cared for as possible.

We operate 22 residential aged care villages, 21 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.

About the role:

• Prepare catering area in line with appropriate processes to ensure effective delivery of catering services
• Assist with the preparation of meals in compliance with health and nutritional standards, providing high quality efficient and effective service
• Clean resident rooms and common areas ensuring our village is tidy and free of waste
• Ensures residents clothing and laundry items are laundered correctly

What you need to be considered:

• Previous experience working in an aged care setting (desirable)
• Previous experience working in catering, cleaning and laundry
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Certificate in III Aged Care (desirable)
• Certificate III in Hospitality or qualification in Safe Food Handling (desirable)
