Job summary

Ozcare Hervey Bay Aged Care is seeking compassionate Care Assistants for part-time and casual roles. You'll provide personalised care, assist with daily activities, and support independence.

Ideal candidates will hold Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Home & Community Care), First Aid & CPR, vaccination against influenza and Covid-19, and solid computer/mobile skills. Flexible rosters and employee benefits available.

• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates required.
• Vaccination against Influenza and at least 1 dose of Covid‑19 vaccine required.

Job description

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our growing team at our Ozcare Hervey Bay Aged Care facility.

With both part-time and casual opportunities available, this is your chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients while enjoying flexible work arrangements.

(Ideally able to work short shifts 5.5 hours across nights and mornings)

Your Role

As a Care Assistant you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence
• Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities
• Assisting clients with their medication requirements
• Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care
