Job summary

Ozcare Group in Sarina, Queensland, is inviting applications for a Casual Care Assistant to support our clients in the local aged care facility. You’ll provide care aligned with personalised plans, assist with daily living tasks, and help clients maintain independence within a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Vaccinated against Influenza and Covid-19 (at least 1 dose).
• Good computer and mobile device skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans.
• Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence.
• Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities.
• Assisting clients with their medication requirements.
• Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care.

Our beautiful Ozcare Aged Care Facility in Sarina has a Casual opportunity available for a Care Assistant to support our clients within the area

Your Role

As a Care Assistant you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence
• Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities
• Assisting clients with their medication requirements
• Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care
