Job summary

Ozcare is seeking Casual Care Assistants to support clients in Hervey Bay. You will provide person-centered care, assist with daily activities and med administration, and work as part of a compassionate care team in the community setting.

Ideal candidates bring empathy, reliability, and excellent communication, with a certificate in aged or community care, current First Aid/CPR, a Police Check, and a valid driver’s license. Training and benefits are offered to support staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care (or equivalent).
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates.
• National Police Check (valid within last 3 years).
• Current Australian Drivers Licence.
• Reliable roadworthy vehicle with current registration and comprehensive insurance.
• Proof of immunity or willingness to vaccinate for MMR, Varicella and Pertussis.
• Good computer and mobile device skills.

Our Ozcare Aged Care at Home Branch based in Hervey Bay are looking for Casual Care Assistants to provide support to clients in the area.

Your Role

As a Care Assistant you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence
• Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities
• Assisting clients with their medication requirements
• Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care

Role Requirements
