Job summary

Ozcare Group in Bundaberg is seeking Permanent Part-time Care Assistants to support clients in the Bundaberg region. You will work with the care team to deliver personalised care plans and help clients maintain independence.

Role requires weekend availability, local residency, and comfort with smartphones and Outlook. Successful candidates will hold a Certificate III in relevant care fields and have current First Aid/CPR and a valid driver's license.

• Weekend availability is required.
• Sound knowledge of using a smartphone and Outlook email.

Responsibilities

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans.
• Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence.
• Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities.
• Assisting clients with their medication requirements.
• Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach to look at every aspect of our clients' care.

Our Ozcare Aged Care at Home Branch in Bundaberg is on the lookout for Permanent Part-time Care Assistants to provide support to clients within the Bundaberg region.

Your Role

As a Care Assistant you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence
• Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities
• Assisting clients with their medication requirements
• Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care

Role Requirements

• National Police Check (valid within last 3 years)
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care (or equivalent)
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
• A reliable roadworthy vehicle with current registration and comprehensive insurance
• Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
• Good computer and mobile device skills
