Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) in New South Wales seeks a Registered Nurse with Cardiac Day Stay Unit experience to join the Cardiac Cath Lab team. The role involves pre/post procedural care, scrubbing/scouting for interventional procedures, and on-call coverage.

The successful candidate will hold AHPRA registration and have 2+ years of acute nursing experience, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and wear lead gowns for radiation protection.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration is required.
• Cath Lab experience is beneficial.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in acute settings (ICU/ED/CCU).
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to participate in on-call roster and after-hours calls.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedural nursing care in the Cardiac Day Stay Unit.
• Scrub/Scout for interventional cardiac, vascular, EP, implantable devices and structural procedures.
• Rotations with Cath Lab during business hours; on-call outside hours.
