Job summary

Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Day Stay Unit and Cath Lab team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. The role involves pre/post-procedural care and scrubbing for interventional procedures, with a 0700-1930 schedule and on-call duties. NSW Health vaccination policy applies.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Current Cath Lab experience will be beneficial.
• More than 2 years clinical nursing experience in acute settings (ICU/ED/CCU).

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-procedural nursing care in Cardiac Day Stay Unit.
• Rotate to Cath Lab for scrubbing/scouting interventional procedures.
• Participate in on-call roster and after-hours callbacks within 30 minutes.
