Job summary

Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab role at St Vincent’s Public Hospital in Sydney. This permanent full-time position supports the Interventional Cardiology Service, with a rotating Monday–Friday roster and on-call overnights and weekends.

You must be an Australian Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA and have acute care experience in cardiac nursing or operating theatres.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA.
• Experience in acute care such as Cardiac Nursing, Anaesthetic Nursing, or operating theatres.
• Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams with strong communication.
• Evidence of integrating theoretical knowledge with clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care, coordinating with patients and families and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve goals and health outcomes.
• Support and rotate within the Interventional Cardiology Service Cath Lab team across procedures.
