Job summary

The Mater Hospital Sydney in North Sydney is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab/Angiography to scrub and scout procedures, provide pre- and post-procedure care, and support anaesthetic nursing and IV sedation. On-call opportunities may apply.

Minimum 2 years post-graduate Angiography/Theatre Scrub experience is required; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous, with strong knowledge of nursing legislation and patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold AHPRA registration as an RN.
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience in Angiography or Theatre Scrub.
• Postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Scrub/scout for angiography procedures including coronary angiograms and related cath lab work.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure care.
• Manage on-call shifts as required.
• Anaesthetic nursing and IV sedation administration.
• Monitor supplies and equipment for procedures.
