Job summary

Rex Gorell Group Geelong is seeking a Car Sales Trainee to join our dealership team. You will connect with guests and help deliver a seamless, five-star buying experience while you learn on the job with training from the dealership and manufacturer you represent.

No prior car sales experience is required; we welcome people from fitness, hospitality, retail or similar backgrounds. Expect a 5-day week with Saturday availability and earning potential through commissions.

Qualifications

• Experience in dealing with customers face to face is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to build rapport and maintain professional relationships.
• Punctual, professional and well organised.
• Hold a current FULL Australian Drivers licence (P plates not eligible).
• 5-day week and Saturday availability.

Responsibilities

• Handle inquiries from internet, phone, walk-in and referrals.
• Showcase product range and demonstrate vehicles.
• Provide engaging test drives to guests in latest vehicles.
• Tailor products to guest requirements.
• Negotiate price and terms.

As a Car Sales Trainee, your main aim is to connect with guests to ensure that they are provided with a seamless and true 5 star buying experience. On the average day, you can expect to be:

• Handling inquiries from sources such as the internet, phone calls, walk in traffic and referral business
• Showcasing the dealerships product range
• Providing exciting and dynamic test drives to guests in the latest vehicles
• Customise and tailor products to suit the guest’s key requirements
• Negotiating price and terms

Do I need car sales experience?

Absolutely not! We are recruiting candidates who love connecting with people from various customer facing industries such as Fitness, Hospitality, Retail, Sales and similar.

Do I receive training & support?

You sure do! Training is provided to you from the dealership & manufacturer who you represent. All training is on the job which means you are paid from day one.

Who are you?
