Job summary

The GPT Group in Sydney seeks an experienced Capital Works Coordinator to support the National Capital team delivering operational and leasing capital works across GPT assets. Based in our Sydney office, you will maintain the Capital Works PMO framework and act as the central hub for governance.

This role focuses on coordinating contracts, financial tracking, vendor onboarding, training, and cross-team information flow to drive project outcomes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting teams with project coordination and PMO capability.
• Strong time management, attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and handle competing priorities across projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contracts systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve and embed the Capital Works PMO framework and templates.
• Coordinate contract preparation and execution; track key dates and milestones.
• Manage purchase orders, invoicing, and align financial tracking across systems.
• Administer shared Capital Works calendar and provide coverage during leave.
• Oversee vendor onboarding, insurance verification and cyber security checks.
• Support onboarding of Capital Managers; deliver system training and induction.
• Act as central coordinator for information flow among Project Managers.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership; coordinate peer groups.
• Lead lessons learned sessions and update templates and documentation.
