Job summary

The GPT Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced Capital Works Coordinator to support the National Capital team in delivering operational and leasing capital works across GPT managed assets.

Based in our Sydney office, you will maintain and continuously improve the Capital Works PMO framework, coordinate contracts and onboarding, manage financial tracking and reporting, and provide training and governance support to Project Managers.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting teams and PMO functions.
• Strong project coordination capability.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and drive outcomes.
• Organised, proactive and collaborative in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve and embed the Capital Works PMO framework with templates and workflows.
• Coordinate contracts and ensure proper execution and insurance compliance.
• Manage PO invoicing and financial tracking across systems.
• Maintain the Capital Works calendar and provide coverage during leave.
• Oversee vendor onboarding, insurance verification and cyber security assessments.
• Support onboarding of Capital Managers and provide systems training materials.
• Coordinate information flow between Project Managers and other teams.
• Prepare reports and materials for senior leadership.
• Lead lessons learned and implement process improvements.
• Oversee project closure activities and financial close-out.
