Job summary

The GPT Group, Sydney, is seeking an experienced Capital Works Manager to join our National Capital team. You will lead strategic planning, procurement, financial management and end-to-end delivery of capital works across GPT assets, aligning with leasing strategies and operational priorities.

You will collaborate with Leasing, Asset Management and external partners to deliver projects safely, sustainably and with minimal disruption to tenants, while driving programme certainty and commercial

Qualifications

• Tertiary educated, client-side Project Manager or Capital Works professional.
• Experience delivering multiple concurrent projects in commercial or institutional property.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop capital works initiatives aligned with asset plans and budgets.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of operational and leasing capital projects across GPT assets.
• Partner with Leasing and Asset Management to support leasing transactions and schedule delivery.
• Lead procurement activities including consultant and contractor engagement and tender management.
• Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate delivery teams to meet safety, quality and commercial objectives while minimizing tenant disruption.
• Support design reviews to align with GPT standards and sustainability goals.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, approvals, WHS, and governance processes.
• Prepare business cases, updates and reporting for stakeholders.
