Job summary

Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) invites applications for a Part-time Cancer Program – Department Office Manager in Adelaide CBD. You’ll coordinate the day-to-day administration, support Consultants and clinical teams, and steer rosters, meetings and departmental processes with strong confidentiality.

The role focuses on supervising administrative staff, improving workflows, and maintaining high-quality service within a busy healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, support and coordinate the administrative team

About the Role

Join the Cancer Program as a Department Office Manager and play a key role in coordinating the day-to-day administrative operations of the Department. You’ll support Consultants and clinical teams, coordinate workloads, maintain key processes and rosters, and provide guidance to administrative staff.

You are an organised and confident administrator who can manage competing priorities, work independently and build positive relationships across a busy healthcare environment. You’ll bring sound judgement, strong communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality customer service.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accurate data entry
  • Sound knowledge of medical terminology and customer service principles
