Job summary

Calvary Health Care in North Adelaide is seeking an Acting Clinical Nurse Educator (0.9 FTE, part-time) to provide clinical leadership and support the delivery of safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care in Oncology/Haematology. You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with the MDT and Clinical Manager to foster professional growth.

The role requires at least three years in Haematology/Oncology nursing, postgraduate Oncology qualifications (or progress toward), and cytotoxic administration

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in Haematology/Oncology nursing.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Oncology, or currently working towards.
• Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in Haematology/Oncology. (Cytotoxic administration competency)
• Accountability for delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.
• Demonstrated experience in teaching, mentoring and precepting staff.

About The Role

As the Acting Clinical Nurse, you will demonstrate a positive, proactive approach and provide clinical leadership to support the delivery of safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care. You will mentor and develop nursing staff, promote professional growth within the team, and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients. FTE 0.9 (negotiable) Permanent part-time.

Your main duties will include:

• Providing support and guidance to junior/inexperienced Oncology/Haematology staff

About You
