Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead a large distribution operation in Canberra. You will own responsibility across sales, operations, transport, warehouse and customer service, driving profitability and performance.

You will manage a 50–60 person team, focus on branch EBIT/revenue targets, and collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for growth and improvements in processes and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a large distribution operation.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to interpret P&L and budgets.
• Track record in FMCG/food distribution is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Leading the day-to-day operations of the branch across sales, warehouse, transport and administration.
• Delivering budgeted EBIT, revenue and profitability targets.
• Managing branch budgets, forecasts, costs and financial performance.
• Analyzing P&L results and KPIs and taking corrective action.
• Leading and developing a team of 50–60 employees.
• Driving customer growth, retention and service excellence.
• Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Managing inventory and ensuring demand is supported effectively.
• Identifying new business opportunities and growth.
