Job summary

Chandler Macleod is partnering with a well-established regional distribution and logistics business to recruit an experienced Branch Manager based in Bendigo, Victoria. This hands-on leadership role oversees warehouse, transport, administration, compliance, inventory management and customer service, driving a strong safety and performance culture.

You will report to senior leadership and lead frontline teams, manage budgets and KPIs, and work closely with a Sales Manager and six Sales

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational teams within warehousing, logistics or similar environments.
• Strong people leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop frontline teams.
• Experience managing safety, compliance, audits, SOPs and operational standards.
• Financial and commercial awareness including P&L and KPI management.

The Opportunity Reporting to senior leadership, the Branch Manager will be responsible for:

What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Experience leading operational teams within warehousing, logistics, transport, manufacturing, distribution or retail environments
• Strong people leadership skills with a proven ability to develop, coach and hold teams accountable
• Experience managing safety, compliance, audits, SOPs and operational standards
• Strong inventory and stock management experience
• Financial and commercial acumen, including P&L awareness and KPI management
• The ability to work in a dynamic, multi-shift operational environment
• A hands-on leadership style with willingness to support operational activities when required
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Essential Requirements

• Must be based in Bendigo or willing to relocate prior to commencement
• Candidates should be located within approximately 45 minutes of Bendigo
• Available to respond to operational matters or site emergencies when required
• Comfortable with occasional early starts, after-hours calls and operational support outside standard business hours
