Job summary

nbn is seeking a Customer Field Technician based in Canberra to perform hands-on installations, faults diagnosis, and repairs at customer premises. You will work largely independently, handle diverse nbn technologies, and ensure customers are well supported throughout the service experience.

Full training and tools are provided, with a focus on safety, clear communication, and delivering quality outcomes for homes and businesses across Australia.

Qualifications

• Hands-on work preferred and able to work independently.
• Background in trades or technical roles is valued.
• Experience in customer interactions is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Install copper or fibre cabling and set up customer equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs in homes or small businesses.
• Provide clear communication and ongoing support to customers.
