Job summary

CQUniversity Australia is seeking a hands-on Facilities Officer to support campus operations across the Mackay region. You will assist with setting up events, relocating offices and furniture, and help trades staff with maintenance tasks in outdoor environments.

This role requires practical, reliable workers who can work independently or in a team, and adapt to changing priorities and urgent requests, while adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks on campus facilities.
• Maintain and presentable campus grounds and exterior areas.
• Comply with Workplace Health and Safety regulations.
• Work independently or as part of a team to respond to requests.

Responsibilities

• Set up events and relocate offices and furniture across campuses.
• Assist trades staff with maintenance tasks and minor repairs.
• Support deliveries and respond to urgent job requests as they arise.
• Keep grounds neat and well maintained and operate basic tools.
