Working at CQUniversity

This is a hands‑on role with plenty of variety. You’ll support the day‑to‑day operation of our campuses, from setting up events and relocating offices and furniture, to assisting trades staff, carrying out general maintenance and keeping our grounds neat and well maintained.

You’ll work across a range of tasks and environments, using equipment such as mowers and whipper‑snippers, helping with minor repairs and maintenance, supporting deliveries and responding to jobs as they arise. No two days are likely to look the same.

We’re looking for someone who is practical, reliable and takes pride in their work. You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, as part of a team and outdoors, with the flexibility to respond to changing priorities and the occasional urgent job.

If you enjoy being active, solving practical problems and seeing the results of a job well done, we’d love to hear from you.
