Job summary

All Souls St Gabriels School in Charters Towers is seeking a Maintenance Officer to join our Grounds and Maintenance team. You will perform a range of building and facility tasks across the campus, with a focus on safety, reliability and a welcoming environment for our school community.

You will work closely with the Head of Grounds and Maintenance to deliver repairs, preventative maintenance and general operational duties, and you will assist with grounds duties to keep outdoor spaces well

Qualifications

• Current Queensland Driver Licence.
• Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to obtain one
• First Aid and CPR qualification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to undertake physical work
• Legal right to work in Australia
• Working at Heights certification
• LR Driver Licence
• Relevant machinery, plant or trade licences

Responsibilities

• Undertake building and facility maintenance tasks across the campus.
• Carry out repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Support projects and general operational duties.
• Assist with grounds duties to maintain outdoor spaces.
• Work with Head of Grounds and Maintenance to ensure high standards.
