Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education is seeking a Maintenance Officer for All Saints Parish School in Albany Creek. You will manage the upkeep of school buildings, furniture and equipment, and perform minor repairs while caring for gardens, lawns and irrigation systems.

You will coordinate facilities for events, monitor requests online, and support refurbishment projects with the Principal. The role requires Certificate III level qualification or relevant experience and is not restricted to Catholic

Qualifications

Experience in managing planned and unplanned maintenance of school buildings, furniture and equipment.
Ability to perform minor repairs and building maintenance tasks.
Proficient in maintaining school grounds including irrigation systems.
Experience tracking maintenance requests using an online system.
Ability to coordinate facilities for events and functions.

Responsibilities

Manage planned and unplanned maintenance of school facilities, furniture and equipment.
Prepare for construction or installation of facilities and perform minor repairs as needed.
Maintain grounds, gardens, lawns, ovals, greens and irrigation components.
Support refurbishments in collaboration with the principal.
Monitor and record maintenance requests in the online system.
Assist with maintenance for school events and functions.
