Qualifications

• 2+ years as a barista with beans, dialling in, and programming a machine
• 1+ years in management or equivalent, leading a large team
• Warm, bubbly personality and ability to build relationships with customers
• Clean, professional appearance and reliable attendance
• Genuine love of hospitality
• Weekends and public holidays availability

Responsibilities

• Run the cafe day to day and keep every shift on track
• Lead a large team: hiring, training, rostering and keeping people happy and motivated
• Looking after the coffee. You'll dial in, and set up the machine and grinder to our recipes so every cup tastes right
• Ordering stock, dealing with suppliers and keeping waste down
• Opening and closing, cash handling and banking
• Keeping food safety, hygiene and WHS up to scratch, and making sure the equipment and venue stay clean
• Getting to know the regulars, making newcomers feel welcome and sorting out any customer issues on the spot
