Job description

As the Cafe Manager at Catering Project, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our vibrant cafe located in the The Coop Café, located at Western Sydney University’s Richmond Campus. This is a full-time role where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the cafe, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

What you'll be doing

Manage all front-of-house and back-of-house operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting.

Foster a positive and productive work environment, leading and motivating a team of passionate baristas and cafe staff.

Oversee the preparation of high-quality food and beverages, ensuring consistently excellent customer experiences.

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Actively participate in the development and execution of the cafe's strategic growth plans.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a cafe supervisor role.

Hands-on experience in all aspects of cafe operations, including food and beverage preparation, barista skills, and point-of-sale systems.

Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to achieve exceptional customer service and sales targets.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, staff, and key stakeholders.

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience.

Must have WWCC.

Must have RSA.
