Job summary

Ninja Parc Newcastle is seeking a Café Coordinator to oversee all café operations, lead and develop the crew, manage costs, stock and performance against targets, and ensure high food safety standards. You will drive exceptional guest experiences in a busy, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Must have café/food & beverage leadership experience.
• Experience coaching and developing a team.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS.
• Experience with rostering and labour control.

Are you a hands‑on café leader who loves great food, strong teams and delivering memorable customer experiences? Ninja Parc is on the lookout for an experienced Café Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our café and lead our crew to success.

This is a leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys coaching others, and takes pride in running a safe, efficient and profitable café.

About the Role

As Café Coordinator, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the Ninja Parc café, ensuring exceptional service, high food safety standards and a positive experience for every guest. You’ll lead, train and develop the café crew while managing costs, stock and performance against targets.

You will bring:

• Previous experience in a café, food & beverage or hospitality leadership role


• Strong people leadership, coaching and training skills


• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene and WHS


• Experience with rostering, labour control and daily operations


• Stock control and ordering experience


• Confident cash handling and basic reporting skills


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• A positive, energetic and solutions‑focused mindset
