Job summary

Glenbrook Panthers is seeking a hands-on Café/Bar Supervisor to lead daily café and bar operations at our Blue Mountains foothills venue. You will direct a small team, ensure service standards across coffee, food and beverages, and drive superior guest experiences for members and guests.

You’ll manage shifts, support bar and kitchen staff, handle stock and cash processes, and uphold RSA, food safety and WHS compliance. A rotating roster and a friendly, community-minded culture await.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in supervisory/management role within hospitality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong shift coordination and customer service abilities.
• Proven ability to resolve issues and make day-to-day decisions.
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise café and bar service with consistent standards.
• Conduct team briefings and allocate duties during shifts.
• Provide hands‑on support with coffee, bar operations and food/beverage service.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering and keep areas stocked.
• Resolve customer enquiries and handle complaints professionally.
• Complete daily shift reports, cash handling and reconciliation.
• Prepare and set up function spaces for events.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across areas.
• Collaborate with other departments to support club operations.
• Train, motivate and support team members; give feedback as needed.
