Job summary

Contemporary Catering in Melbourne is seeking a part-time cafe assistant to greet customers, take orders and perform POS transactions. You will assist with food and beverage preparation and keep the service area clean and well-presented.

The role requires prior barista/cafe experience, a passion for delivering excellent service, solid knowledge of food safety and allergen management, and a willingness to learn within a growing team.

The Opportunity

We currently have 2 part time positions available accross a 7 day roster with approximate hours from 9.30am - 3pm.

The Position

• Greet customers, take orders and handle transactions
• Food and beverage preparation
• Maintaining the service area to high standards

The Person

• Previous experience in a barista/cafe attendant role
• A passion for food and delivering exceptional customer service
• Strong knowledge of Food safety and allergen management
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Hold a police check or ability to obtain one
