Job summary

RSL LifeCare in Narrabeen, NSW is seeking a Casual Cafe Assistant to support our catering team in delivering high-quality meals to residents and visitors. You will help with dishwashing, food safety, and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining environment.

Location: Dugout Cafe - ANZAC Village, Narrabeen, NSW

Position: Casual - Ideally flexible during the week and weekends

Pay Rate: $29.98 per hour + 25% casual loading + 12% Super + Not-for-profit tax benefits - salary packaging of up to $15,900 per

• Work closely with the catering team to provide high-quality catering services for residents and their visitors
• Comply with Food Safety Standards

About You

• Previous barista or cafe experience is preferred
• Your demonstrated compassion and empathy. Our teams have a passion for what they do and the impact they make to our residents and their families.
• Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to ensure the best possible resident experience and teamwork
• Your teamwork. We enjoy working together with a highly skilled team to deliver the best possible experience for our residents and support each other.
• Your ability to work efficiently and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
• Qualifications in catering and hospitality or related work experience are beneficial but not essential. We can help you learn and develop in the role.

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
