Job summary

RSL LifeCare is seeking a Casual Café Assistant at Dugout Cafe – ANZAC Village, Narrabeen, NSW. The role offers flexible hours during the week and weekends, with pay of $29.98 per hour plus 25% casual loading, 12% super and not-for-profit tax benefits.

You will work with the catering team to provide high-quality services for residents and visitors, uphold Food Safety Standards, keep areas clean, and deliver friendly, resident-focused service during shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous barista or cafe experience preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Clear communication with residents, families and colleagues.
• Ability to work in a team in a fast-paced café environment.
• Commitment to food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with serving residents and visitors.
• Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning.
• Ensure correct meals for residents with dietary needs.
• Maintain clean dining areas and equipment.
