Job summary

Mitch & Co in Tyabb is seeking a reliable Cafe All Rounder to join our busy, well-established café team. This role covers FOH and kitchen tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with a focus on customer service, food and beverage service, and keeping the service area running smoothly.

We offer consistent daytime hours, five days per week, with shifts starting early and finishing mid-afternoon. Barista skills are valued but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous cafe or hospitality experience.
• Confidence working in both FOH and kitchen environments.
• Barista experience highly regarded but not essential.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Reliability and punctuality; willingness to help whenever needed.

We're looking for a reliable experienced Cafe All Rounder to join our team

Mitch & Co is a busy well established cafe in Tyabb and we're looking for a motivated hardworking and versatile individual who enjoys working in a fast paced hospitality environment

This is an opportunity for someone seeking consistent substantial weekly hours rather than just a few shifts here and there

We are specifically looking for someone who can commit to working a minimum FIVE days per week

About the Role

FOH service taking orders and looking after customers

Food & Beverage service

General kitchen duties and basic food preparation

Assisting with sandwich and cabinet preparation

Clearing tables washing dishes and maintaining an cleanliness

Barista duties where experienced

Supporting other team members during busy service periods

Maintaining a clean organised and efficient workplace

What we are looking for

Previous cafe or hospitality experience

Confidence working in both FOH and kitchen environments

Barista experience highly regarded but not essential

A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Someone who takes initiative and can work independently

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Reliability punctually and a willingness to help whenever needed

The ability to work efficiently in a busy cafe environment

Availability - Please Read Carefully

Must be available to work at least 5 days per week Monday to Saturday

Must have flexibility to work different daytime shifts with starts potentially as early as 6am and finishes up to 3.30pm

No Sunday shifts

Applicants seeking only one to two shifts per week will not be suitable for this position
