Job summary

Mitch & Co in Tyabb is seeking a reliable Cafe All Rounder to join our busy, well-established café team. This role covers FOH and kitchen tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with a focus on customer service, food and beverage service, and keeping the service area running smoothly.

We offer consistent daytime hours, five days per week, with shifts starting early and finishing mid-afternoon. Barista skills are valued but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous cafe or hospitality experience.
• Confidence working in both FOH and kitchen environments.
• Barista experience highly regarded but not essential.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Reliability and punctuality; willingness to help whenever needed.

Responsibilities

• FOH service taking orders and looking after customers.
• Food & Beverage service.
• General kitchen duties and basic food preparation.
• Assisting with sandwich and cabinet preparation.
• Clearing tables, washing dishes and maintaining a clean workplace.
• Barista duties where experienced.
• Supporting other team members during busy service periods.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient workplace.
