Job summary

Mpower, a long-standing community organisation in South West Victoria, is seeking a Business Transformation Lead to steer a portfolio of strategic initiatives while collaborating with the CEO. The role focuses on improving service delivery, organisational capability, and sustainability, with flexibility across locations and a 0.6 to 1.0 FTE arrangement.

This is not a purely IT role; the emphasis is on leading people, processes and change management to deliver practical outcomes.

Hybrid | Purpose-Led Organisation | 0.6-1.0 FTE

Shape the future of one of South West Victoria's most respected community organisations, without needing to relocate.

Mpower has been supporting individuals, families and communities across South West Victoria for more than 50 years. As we navigate significant sector reform, service evolution and organisational change, we are seeking an experienced Business Transformation Lead to help drive the next chapter of our journey.

This newly created position works directly with the CEO to lead a portfolio of strategic initiatives that improve service delivery, strengthen organisational capability, support innovation and ensure long-term sustainability. The role is initially being offered on a 12 month fixed-term basis.

This is NOT an IT or Technical role.

While technology, AI and business systems will form part of several projects, we are specifically seeking a business-focused change leader who can bring people together, improve processes, lead organisational change and drive practical outcomes. Deep technical expertise is not required.

Flexible Location

While regular collaboration across Mpower locations is required, noting the head office location of Warrnambool, hybrid arrangements are available and the role is offered between 0.6 and 1.0 FTE by negotiation. Relocation is not necessary.

Your professional experiences have likely been across some or all of the following domains:

Business transformation

Change management

Business analysis

Program or project leadership

You'll bring experience coordinating complex initiatives, engaging stakeholders and turning strategic priorities into practical outcomes. Most importantly, you'll know how to move projects from discussion to sustainable implementation.
