Job summary

Toyota Motor Corporation Australia is seeking a Business Transformation & Insights Analyst in Port Melbourne. The role combines data analytics, BI reporting and stakeholder engagement to drive franchise development and future initiatives.

You will develop dashboards, models and scorecards, provide timely insights, and support decision-making across the dealer network. This is a permanent full-time, hybrid role with strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analytics and BI with translating data into insights.
• Strong Power BI and advanced Excel skills for dashboards and reports.
• Ability to analyze large datasets with focus on accuracy and outcomes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and semantic data models to support scalable reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and clear communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders as a trusted advisor for reporting, analytics and insights.
• Gather and interpret performance data from multiple sources to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and enhance reporting dashboards and performance scorecards for planning and decision-making.
• Create automated reporting and visualisation solutions using Power BI and Microsoft data platforms.
• Monitor performance against objectives and provide actionable improvement strategies.
• Support data models and BI solutions ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Contribute to governance, standards, processes and documentation for scalable reporting.

What you'll contribute to

As a Business Transformation & Insights Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in driving Toyota's Franchise Development and Franchise of the Future initiatives. Leveraging data, analytics, and business intelligence, you'll provide meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making, performance improvement, and innovation across our Dealer Network.

This is a permanent full time role based at Port Melbourne

How you'll make an impact

• Partner with stakeholders across the business as a trusted advisor for reporting, analytics, and performance insights.
• Gather, analyse, and interpret business performance data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting solutions, dashboards, and performance scorecards that provide timely and accurate insights for planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Create automated reporting and visualisation solutions using Power BI and Microsoft data platforms.
• Monitor and evaluate performance against Dealer, project, and business transformation objectives, providing recommendations and actionable improvement strategies.
• Support the development and maintenance of data models, reporting datasets, and business intelligence solutions to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity.
• Contribute to reporting governance, standards, processes, and documentation that support sustainable and scalable reporting capabilities.

• Experience in business analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or data analysis, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and advanced Excel skills, including the development of dashboards, reports, and automated reporting solutions.
• Experience analysing large and complex datasets, with a strong focus on accuracy, data quality, and actionable outcomes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI Semantic Models, and data modelling principles to support scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-making across the business.
